THE TRAINING This comprehensive, instructor-led course is designed to equip law enforcement personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate high-stress situations with composure, sound judgment, and confidence. Built upon four core safety principles, the training emphasizes not only officer safety, but also the safety of all individuals involved and the broader community. ![]() Participants will acquire practical techniques to effectively respond, maintain composure, and engage in rational decision-making during emotionally charged encounters. The course provides officers with the ability to identify behavioral hooks and triggers to foster empathy, enhance communication, and facilitate peaceful resolutions. Simple, easy-to-apply acronyms are introduced to support rapid assessment and response, guiding officers’ decisions and actions, particularly in high-threat situations. Training components include:
Delivered in an engaging, high-energy format, this training focuses on practical, immediately applicable tools that not only reinforce officer safety, but also strengthen community trust and public confidence in law enforcement. The course is offered in two formats: an 8-hour or 16-hour session conducted over 1 or 2 days.
