Hosted by the Madera County Sheriff’s Office and open to all California law enforcement officers, this training emphasizes de-escalation, officer and public safety, and diversion from the criminal justice system when appropriate. Participants will gain practical skills through scenario-based learning, increased awareness of community resources, and enhanced understanding of behavioral health conditions to improve outcomes during crisis encounters.
